Hong Kong – A Sophisticated Market but Are Some Being Left Behind?

  • Almost 100% of learners have received blended learning and both tablets and smart phones are being used for mobile learning over the past three years.
  • Learners are vocal and active, and often drive learning initiatives themselves, as we are seeing in other countries.
  • But, the most interesting trend is that there appears to be a gradual decline in training focus and provision (from organisation to learner). 10% of Learners have received NO training over the past 12 months in Hong Kong, despite the economy being so developed.
  • A more vocal and mobile Learner community may seek opportunity elsewhere if they do not get what they need in the organisation OR the country within which they operate.
